About Megan Baker
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, where I trained in relational, trauma-informed therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a dance teacher — an experience that shaped my belief that healing isn’t just cognitive, it’s creative and embodied. I often incorporate art and expressive tools into sessions to help access what can feel hard to put into words.
My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a compassionate, parts-based approach that helps us understand the different inner voices and patterns that developed to protect us. Rather than judging or suppressing them, we get curious. I work from a non-judgmental, collaborative stance, helping clients feel more internally aligned and grounded.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating addiction, co-dependency, identity, and relationship struggles, as well as couples in ethically non-monogamous, open, or polyamorous relationships. I approach intimacy and relational structure from a sex-positive lens, creating a space where you can explore openly and without shame.
